The Hotel Fire- Alternative

This is about the famous "engineer-mathematician-physicist jokes"

Please see here to get the original story:

The Hotel Fire
An engineer, a mathematician, and a physicist are staying for the night in a hotel. Fortunately for this joke, a small fire breaks out in each room. The physicist awakes, sees the fire, makes some careful observations......,
see more from http://www.farmdale.com/emp-jokes.shtml

I was thinking: if the fire was bigger ---When they saw it, it was about the size that is impossible to put out but only appear promising. What will they do?
Physicist still observe and calculate with the caliberation on the fire's time-progress, then he got the answer that it is impossible for him to get the necessary amount of flow rate to extinguish the fire, so he escapes.
Mathematician also "proved" that there is no "solution" and escaped.
Engineer thinks it promising in his usual intuitive fashion and tried to put it out but the fire never went out.......luckily, his knowledge about safety guided him to do all his effort on the solid ground of his own safety, so he escaped when the last possible exit is about to be closed by fire.
-----------
I think it is always better to know the real situation.

Little experiment for today

It was not I who was doing it.
Our respectable senior technician was taking photos of my little norms and mutants that I made last week. He was so skillful and serious, and was capable of any subtle movement to ajust everything to its best state! In fact I guess his movement must be of micro or nano-scale precision. What an exhibition of great spirit of Japanese craftsmanship! He is not exactly a craftsman but he did make the best Microscopic photos all the time.

Conservation of Creativity

Last week, I said I dried out because of hard experiment schedule. This week I am experiencing an idea turbulence, a flood of ideas are storming in my mind!

Conclusion:
Ideas obey the law of conservation of creativity. Of course creativity doesn't stick to one person if that person is not oblidging to it.

eXp_{WEEk}(weekend)

I went to school to clean the mess!
It was somewhat funny. It is the 2nd day of Setsubun(節分) festival today, so the way to school is full of people and shops and smell of food!
Who would believe that I am going that direction to lab? :)
These are paparazzi photos of average people. You can see my handsome university building there in the first one.

EXp_{week} (4th Day)

Thursday 25:30

Today was extremely troublesome day!
A grain jumped in to the EB gun and I had to redo everything.

Now I am waiting for the cooling so I uploaded some pics to my Little Drawing blog.
I really have a lot of waiting time during experiments but I can't really use it for drawing because I easily fall into a state to think about drawing all the time, which may lead to some experimental hazard!
